It was beautifully designed and we would stay here again. Our stay here was really nice, brilliant place for exploring Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Thanks to the welcoming staff everything was fab, including plenty of delicious food. The location was easy for traveling around Ashby-de-la-Zouch, really close to restaurant, the local shop and the town centre. A cool bonus was Rose Cottage Tearooms, located nearby, it offered tea and coffee.

It was just a smart choice for a quick break in Ashby-de-la-Zouch with value for price. The staff were friendly upon check-in and helped us settle in quickly. Bring your own milk for breakfast cereals if you like milk with them.

The room was well-decorated, but we had issues with the shower cubicle.

missingWrote a review on 03 Septpoor communication
Several issues stood out . The breakfast routine felt questionable when items were left outside near roaming cats, impacting freshness. On top of that, the room temperature dropped significantly overnight due to heating not kicking in on time. Cleanliness also left something to be desired, with dust present in the corners and a chilly en-suite without adequate warmth. Communication before arrival was flawed, with difficulty reaching the hotel for confirmation regarding my late check-in time. Lastly, the kitchen hours can be confusing. I faced early closure, leaving me without options for late-night meals.

It's close enough to the town but quiet too. We enjoyed amazing food for dinner, and the breakfast was delicious! Amy, our waitress, was fantastic-very organized and friendly.

The staff's friendliness stood out. Breakfast was a highlight, with tasty eggs benedict and a solid full English option. The noise from the room significantly affected our rest, and the limited space felt cramped for two. Although the location was convenient for exploring nearby towns, the noise and size issues are worth considering for future visits.

The noise from the boiler was quite disruptive!!! The outdated decor in the rooms really doesn't help the overall ambiance. A bit of revamping would go a long way!!!
